Mental Skills Training for Athletes

 

You can learn mental skills to maximize your performance in your sport. These skills range from basic skills to establish a winning attitude and setting goals, to preparation skills and the skills you can use to perform under pressure.

 

- Initial consultation: In this meeting, we will discuss your goals for refining your mental skills, any challenges you have faced in executing your physical skills at your best. Our initial meeting will include an assessment of 9 areas to identify what mental skills you already have and where there is room for improvement. 

 

Plan for Improvement: Depending on what we discover in our first meeting, we will set up a plan to address your mental skills that can improve. You can expect about 4 sessions where we practice the skills and some instruction on how to practice them on your own. 

 

- Future plans: Once you have learned the mental skills to improve your game, we can schedule sessions at a frequency that works for you.

Work on the mental skills you need to improve your style and confidence in your tricks. Enhance concentration, manage nervousness, and learn skills to perform under pressure.
